On Thursday in class we talked about two of the books we’ve read, Culture Jam and Transforming Power. Our discussions led me to think about how important it is to realize that churches are judged based on the way they act, not on their statement of faith. I think statements of faith are important, but I can’t imagine anyone but overchurched Christians looking at them all that seriously. People outside of our faith communities are more likely to be drawn in by authentic, friendly, generous, humble, and passionate people. Actions speak louder than words…
